I Really Missed You Guys!

I was busy sulking in my room after meeting with a bunch of boring dealers all day wishing that I was back in Spencerville with all the City/Native Lakers when I got kidnapped by two hot babes and pulled into a bar when all of a sudden all of this dirty dancing started happening. I PROMISE I will never leave Spencerville again! I couldn't stop thinking about you guys, every minute of every day (and especially at night!) I know you guys had a LOT more fun than Spencer!

I am wondering what advise Captain E would provide in a situation like this!

we got some weather coming

This thunderstorm popped up on the new color weather radar we installed at outpost#2. Its really nice knowing in advance of any approaching bad weather so we can gather up empty beer cans before the blow all over the place. This shot was captured around 3:30pm on Sunday afternoon right after "Whip-a-reno" payed us a quick visit. Big party at his place soon....hope its hot and sunny. We will be checking the new dopler color radar that day for sure!
Hope this weather blows over!

Saturday's sky

Quiet night at the lake last night, this is what you missed if you were somewhere other than the south shore of Lake"O", like for instance some other lake in New York. JW, Watervixen & Lisa were here, so was Matt and John until they went to a graduation party. JW was nervous because she thought there might be beer at the party but they assured her it was only 2 kegs and to stop worrying. Watervixen went for a run this morning, i passed!

Guess that garment contest

Who can guess the latest knitting project by the Watervixen? Place your guesses in the comments section of this posting. You will recieve a fabulous prize package worth a dollar 3 eighty for guessing correctly! Ö¿Ö

Doesn't Angle-Fish look relaxed?

Wireless camera remote tested last night

Decided to try out the wireless remote for my Nikon D70s last night. It really comes in handy for capturing those special group and family shots around campfire as you can see by the photos above. Turned out to be a really nice night at the lake, no wind and a pretty cool sunset. Could have stayed out much later but everyone had to get going early Saturday morning so Spencer put his foot down and made everyone leave before 11pm. Thought he might have wanted one final cold one but the thought of a long drive on Satuday morning to Lake George must have changed his mind! Wonder if Ray will let him drive???

Longest day of the year today!

I dont know why they call it the longest day of the year...it lasted 24 hours just like the rest of them. I was hoping to see some heat lightning but no such luck!

Fathers day @ outpost #2

Perfect day to have the fathers down to the lake for thier day , fun was had by all!

Two Old Men

I can't even think of a comment to add to this, other than whatever I had said, I think Coach agreed with me! (BTW, do you think Coach's swing makes me look fat?)

Sweet Relief

These pix were taken on a late Sunday night SeaDoo ride that Sweetums talked us into taking. This is taken at our secret spot that Dan is marking right now and obviously satisfied with his work. I think the "Vixen" was satisfied with his work as well. Just doing his part to warm up Lake O!

Hopefully we will be doing a "longest day of the year" ride tomorrow! Do you think Captain E is coming down this year? How about Scottie? Anybody seen either?

Attempted Launch

This was our attempted and 1/2 successful launch...and the very last picture of the 2000 Millenium Edition SeaDoo. Somehow Dan's SeaDoo Service didn't get to work on this one and it failed to make the grade. Either that or him and Bill Hebeler got together and did something to make it not run properly so that I would get so pissed off that I would immediately run up to Hebeler's and buy a new one! Good move though...the new one is very cool! Maybe have to see what the "Beast" is worth!

Off to game #2 of the day on Fathers Day. You are all welcome that we are spending the best part of the day in the gym at Niagara University! About 90+ out today...about 190+ in the gym! Laura's very last organized basketball game! Got to go...

another boring sunset

The Water-vixen took a sunset paddle Saturday night while I sat an the deck and took a few pictures. Really hot today 90 and sunny. Got my new jetstream tri-band antenna up today, i'm thinking about posting a few pictures of it on the blog if anyone is interested. Had a few cold ones on whip-a-reno's deck with a bunch of the native lakers. We even met Sandy's brother!

Zero emmisions vehicle visits outpost#2

Coach and Ginger had shuttle service to and from their party Friday night. These crazy girls wanted me to squeeze onboard and ride down to the "mothership" with them but I took my own car! What would Capt "E" have done in this situation? I reached for my laser and pointed it to the sky but no response....this happens to me all the time, please advise!

Outpost #1 gets a breath of fresh air

Took the green Sea-Doo down to outpost#1 yesterday and got a look at the new windows and doors. This should really give them some better air flow and a great view of the willow tree too! Thought I might see Capt. "E" lurking in the area but no luck. I did see Tony's new dock though!!

Wet Wednesday

Stayed at the lake last night and got to see a nice June sunset. A small lake freighter downbound for The St. Lawrence Seaway added to an already cool scene. Spencer was able to get one Sea-Doo on the ramp, actually Woe rode it back with a quick stop at outpost #2. J.W. jr and J.W. sr both stopped over along with tommy. Whip-a-reno was late but tossed a few cold ones back as well. Still no Capt "E" sighting, I'm sure Scotty knows where he is but just can't say. Water Vixen said she forgot she was at the cottage in the middle of the night! Hope this week-end is as nice.

"Spring Sea-Doo Get-Ready" in full swing

Business has been good at Dan's Sea-Doo shop this spring. This particular machine always presents a challenge as it logs many hours of bone jarring, wave crashing, ski-line sucking fun on the mighty Lake Ontario the previous summer. Good news for the proud owners of this fine heep of fiberglass and aluminum, she started right up and purred like a kitten with the first tap of the start button! Now all we have to do is stop wishing for so many ROCKS in the launch area! Don't forget to click on the ad banners that are on the blog and check out thier really cool web sights, you might get a free beer out of it!

Deck enlargement complete 6/11/06

Finally finished the deck enlargement at outpost #2 this morning, can't wait until we get nice enough weather to sit on it and sip a cold one! Only took me 4 years to decide to tackle this project and about 4 weekends to complete it. Spencer thinks I should build one on the south side of the cottage now! Thanks to all you "native lakers" for helping me with this project. Hope to watch many sunsets from here.

Saturday @ 8:48 am

The sky cleared this morning but 20 to 25 kts out of the NW making it a little bumpy on Lake "O"

Big waves - nice sunset

Cool Sunset after dinner @ the "Birch" Friday night in downtown Lyndonville. Whip-A-Reno stopped @ Zero with brother Bill sister JW jr. and Tommy. Tossed um back till the cows came home then called it a night. Water vixen is under the weather, I think she has "P" numonia! Capt E was absent again from the Friday night festivities. I'm sure he will more than make up for this in the weeks to come.

A City Lakers birthday wish

Since Captain "E" was unable to join us last night we made this special happy birthday sign out of crayons and scrap lumber from coach's cottage,
hope he likes it!
