Tower Prep

This is a happy Dan working on his tower. Pretty soon this thing will tower above cottage, command central will be set up and things will be back to normal- if you call that normal.

Siding!

The siding is done. The color is Pecan, similar to Taupe. I think we need shutters, don't you?

This is the deck area- I am very happy with the new sliding door.

And this is cool, isn't it. This is the octagon window up in the peak of bedroom, and yes there is a screen up there.

Sliders in

All the windows are in now as well as the sliding door, insulation and siding should be soon.

Smooth night

Angel Fish and WaterVixen took advantage of the calm lake Saturday night and gave us a high speed pass.

Roof complete

Greg and the boys worked hard last week and got the front window in and the roof on. They also are going to put the octagon window in the bedroom.

Bud Light anyone

Denise made me pose for this pic with the Bud Light girl in front of the Oasis for Coach and Jim, I searched the beach for a Blue Light girl but couldnt find one. I guess Bud Light isnt so bad after all.

Cottage progress

Arrived safely back from California. What a blast we had and the wedding was beautiful. I know many of you where hoping for more of the previous post- however we have more important things to cover, like what is happening at the cottage.

So here is the new front window area. Nice view - huh..

And the sliding glass door
Hoping for the roof and maybe a few doors to secure the place by the weekend. But I am not asking. Just watching and waiting... and waiting...

long enough

Mike brought home his new Cigarette Top Gun on Saturday, backing it in the driveway might take some practice though. Cant wait for summer to get here so we can take it out for a few high speed runs past Spencerville.
