Deck enlargement complete 6/11/06

Finally finished the deck enlargement at outpost #2 this morning, can't wait until we get nice enough weather to sit on it and sip a cold one! Only took me 4 years to decide to tackle this project and about 4 weekends to complete it. Spencer thinks I should build one on the south side of the cottage now! Thanks to all you "native lakers" for helping me with this project. Hope to watch many sunsets from here.

I can't believe it was so cold this weekend. I guess if you had to miss a weekend at the lake this would have been a good one. Got alot of yard work done though, even hacked the breed jungle back from the edge of the lane and weedwacked a crapload of over grown grass! Next weekend is looking better though just like richman sez....might hit 80!

This next weekend should be spectacular....we have Laura's LAST hoop tournament! Oh well...it is at NU, so at least we will be back to sit on your new deck after the games! Nice work on the deck. It was fun watching you and the "native lakers" build it!

Tim Wink says it looks like a stage!

Just add a pole and maybe the vixen will dance!

that's a sweet deck.

you need a railing - you've got a liability claim waiting to happen with all the alcohol consumption down there! =)

What's wrong with dirt? Save a tree for something else!

Greenpeace is coming! They want the tree back.

I think its made out of a composite type material that in no way killed any trees. Actually it helps the ecology by turning dicarded six pak holders into deck material. Maybe you tree huggers should get a life!
