In the shadow

Take a look at this ice build up on Lake Ontario. Denise poses in the shadow of the pine tree out on the ice jam. Nice day for Febuary, mid 30's and sunny, Spencer and Annette dont know what they are missing today at the lake!

shoot the moon

I normally don't take pictures of the moon but last night was the Total eclipse of the full Moon so I couldnt resist. The next total lunar eclipse visible from North America will not happen until December 21, 2010. It was about 40 below last night when I was taking this pic so thats why it didnt come out to good. Hopefully Dec 21st 2010 it will be a tad warmer.

This is a box of cables and cords for my ABC-Along Flickr group picture. This week is the letter "C"

Showtime

Went to the Buffalo Auto Show last night and saw this Chrysler Firepower concept car. This sweet machine is powered by a 6.1-liter HEMI V8 on a Dodge Viper chassis. The blue Dodge Super Bee was very cool as well as the new 2009 Dodge Journey in the top picture. The new Journey is one of those vehicles that wants to look like an SUV, haul stuff like a station wagon and ride like a passenger car.

I hope this picture makes the newsletter someday!

Snowy Saturday

Finally got a nice blanket of the white stuff. Still a poor excuse for winter, going into the 50's on Tuesday! Might go all winter without a single snowmobile ride....maybe next year.
