Lisa shows us the storm of the summer
Lisa was nice enough to model her green top against the darkness of this wicked storm system that blew through this afternoon. Whip-a-reno's new flag stood up to the test though, if 35 knot north winds didnt hurt it nothing will! Ginny just called and let us know she left all her windows open at the mothership-doh!

The "Tid"
The Whip-a-reno's and the Coach-a-reno's Stopped down at outpost #2 Thursday night for a beer. The sun was nice enough to peek out of the clouds at just the right moment to catch the Tid-Bit on its way back to Golden Hill. Another fun wet Wednesday at the cottage...the Water Vixen and Meggers missed it but they are at a nice lake too.

City Lakers On The Move!
After a delightful 8 hour drive the city lakers arrived at Lake Tippecanoe. Believe it or not the lake was CaLLLLLLLm. We've only been here 24 hours and now Cheech's seadoo is not working. Seadooing BLOWS!!!! The fishing is excellent as you can see and we just saw a beaver. Yes I said BEAVER!!!!!! While swimming we encountered some indigenous fish called crotch nibblers. We may never come home at this rate. That's all for now.

Partyball debuts on Whip-a-reno deck
The party pump got broken in Friday night on the whip-a-reno deck. Frank was worried his picture might appear on a blog somewhere...wasnt that silly of him!
Faith & Mike made their first trip to the cottage this year but I think Mike stayed away from the party pump. He did whip up a giant batch of meat snacks around 11pm though.

Need some gas?
Lake "O" was calm today so we were able to ride our watercraft. We ran low on fuel Thursday on our Lyndonville to Wilson Sea-doo ride so we called in a Kc-135 refueler so we could make it back home. Actually Denise snapped this picture from the deck because she knew it was a cool military jet I would like to see....thanks Denise! Frank,Kim,Michelle Steve and thier families arrived and will be here until Sunday. We might use the party ball tonight!

The Maiden Voyage
Coach looked like a pro on his maiden voyage on his "new" SeaDoo! He also brought out his best hightop Cons for the occasion....just so happens that they match the craft! Welcome to the new world of fun on the water to the entire "Coach Family". (This picture was taken at the "spot"...sorry...can't tell you where it is!)

High speed pass
Good day on Lake "O" for a fast Seadoo ride, Spencer is tapping into all 185 ponys on this run for sure! I even rode my machine today for the first time this summer. Tony P was nice enough to let us use his new launch so we don't have to fight the traffic at Golden Hill. I think we will hook him up with a few cases of beer.

Look who's back!
Captain E and Meggers are back at the lake now after a few weeks away. It got real nice last night after that west wind stopped around 8pm. Had a small camp fire at outpost #2, burned that plastic chair that spencer broke. That baby got the fire cranking and the black smoke billowing! Whip-a-reno's deck got tested for its load capacity last night when the graduation party regathered on it. Held up fine, in fact it didnt even wiggle. Must have been those last few cross braces he put on. I think I drank a Genny Light last night...ew.
The lake looks calm enough this morning to possibly take the 1st ride of the summer on my Seadoo, hope it stays this flat all day.

July 4th weekend @ Al & Shirley's new deck
Al & Shirley were nice enough to invite us down for a party on his new deck last night(or did we invite ourselves down?)anyway, as you can see from the picture Al's new deck lights sure are bright, I think I heard a lake freighter asking the coast guard on the marine radio if there was a new harbor on the south shore that hasnt been put on the navigation charts yet! Al quickly powered them down so they wouldn't attract any bugs. I'm thinking about putting a deck like this at my place, probably could knock it off in a weekend or two!
